Findings from Dr Kotwicki's 1991 Paper: |
|
Miranda which has barely enough gravitational pull to form a sphere, has a complex geological terrain, dominated by three enormous ovals, huge fracture zones, steep terraces and cliffs 10-20 km high.Both Miranda and Ariel have an unexpected degree of geologic activity for such small bodies, which should be rather permanently frozen. |
